Looking for a little help - I'm looking to purchase a leftover 2012 Electra Glide Ultra Ltd. Not a fan of the sound, considering my last ride was a 95" Stage II SE with SE slip ons.
Is there a decent set of slip ons (either SE or aftermarket) that work well on a stock 103? I don't really want to **** around with the SERT or spend a billon dollars on the dyno to have mediocre results (our stealerships up here aren't noted for tuning). Thanks in advance - any suggestions / comments are appreciated.
Call Jamie at Fuel Moto, it wont cost a bazillion bucks but around $1350.00 for a new catless header, highflow aircleaner, slip-ons and PCV with his dyno tuned map already to go and you bike will sound like a Harley and run smooth and cool. Just a little more cash and day in the garage.

Just bought my 2012 rkc last fall. First thing I did was put on a FuelMoto 2-1-2, stage 1 air cleaner, and powervision. Instantly woke up the bike and sound improved dramatically with stock pipes. I just put on Vance & Hines twin slash monster ovals and the sound is a bit louder and much deeper.
Call FuelMoto and talk to Jamie or one of the other folks. They will help you make the right choice and won't break the bank. Of course, that depends on the state of your bank :-)
Thx for the replies. Upon further digging it appears that the 103 stock has less hp/torque then my SE95 did, which is gonna suck being it is a heavier bike...also means I go with genuine HD parts or my warranty is toast - looks like I'm between a rock and a hard place, cause the stock hp/ torque #'s are pretty dismal IMHO - and can't see myself spending an additional 14,000 to move up to a 110 CVO. I was hoping to stay away from a tuner, but that looks impossible at this point...

Yea. I thought of the warranty issue as well. I don't think they will deny warranty service unless what you do causes the problem. The mods I described can be undone if necessary but they are pretty low risk.
Had V&H Twin Slash slip-ons put on when I took delivery, and bought catless headpipe off of eBay at 4000 miles. Sounds great, runs great (I did add an SE255 at 4000 too).
Hit your local HD dealer next sunny Saturday + listen to the rollin comin in. Personally, I like the 4" Rineharts on my RK, but sound is subjectable + you may not like the same thing.
