Default Fork Mounted Wind Deflectors

Yesterday I installed the New style wind deflectors.I never liked the old style, but the new ones kinda caught my eye.So now I can't wait to get out for a ride,I've heard they do a lot to reduce the buffetting. We'll see.

Looks a lot better than the old style.

I have a set of the old style that has been installed and removed about 10 times.

Love the reduced wind but hate the way they look, every time I install them I remove them a couple days later because I think they look so bad.

May have to try the new styled ones, they do look better.

New Style, got a part number handy? Couldn't find on Harley web site. Also, do you know if these will fit if you have lowers?

Thanks,
Don

+1 Bagger Beard wears me out at times, especially when my smoke catches it on fire.

I thought you were talking about the adjustable fairing deflectors.

I can't see any difference between them and my old ones? Mine are only on during cold months and didn't go on at all this winter, but not because of they way they look. They look good on the bike to me.

I couldn't find it, but someone recented posted a picture of his clear plexy/lexan lower wind deflectors. Think they were mounted under the turnsignal braces. Very discrete looking.

Freedom wings makes something like that. I bought them to replace the fork mounted "swords" but they didn't work as well in the winter. I take the swords off and the Freedom Wings on in warmer weather since they do help with buffeting. I use these in addition to the Freedom Wings adjustable fairing deflectors year round.
