i haven't been as lucky with the seat as you guys. i got one (2 up) for my 2010 Ultra Classic and while it was an improvement over my stock seat, i still had problems riding after about 1.5 hrs. i have a cronic tailbone issue and have tried an ultimate, mustang and the stock seats. bout ready to go for a hammock or a day-long. the seat on my 2013 Limited is better yet but still provides discomfort after about the same amount of time.

Just ordered that seat for my street glide, should be here tomorrow. Glad to hear all the good reviews on it, got it through Dennis Kirk for just under $400 with free shipping.

I just recently bought the same seat but with chrome studs. I put it on, sat on it and took it off as the bike is now at the dealer for a tune with new TB. I've owned prior Mustangs and they are really good seats. As stated, the backrest is fantastic but they're easy to remove for dishonest people. Check out www.bikertrends.com for a good price. I think they are a middle man for Mustang and you also get the mini fender bib/chrome mounting nuts included. Might take 7-8 days but save some $$ ...

its a darn good looking seat, thats for sure. comments about the back rest are spot on. i wouldn't have a seat anymore without one. got one for my stock seat as i got so spoiled by my other ones that had a back rest. You'll enjoy it.

Never had the solo seat but on my 07 i went from Stock (sucked) to Mustang wide tour (way much better) and after 70000 miles switched to a Sundowner (which to me is betterthan Mustang)...Don't get me wrong the Mustang was good and well built...it did take in water in rainy rides more than the Sundowner... overall it worked good.
Whatever you do a backrest will amplify the comfort umpteenth levels...
