Harley Glaze Sealant. The stuff works great and it's safe to use on pretty much anything but denim paint.

I don't know who makes it for them, it is almost certainly available under a different name but.....The new Harley Glaze I got at the dealership works better than anything I have used yet.

Regardless of which wax/polish/sealant you use, the easiest way I know of for removing bugs from painted surfaces is to drape a damp cloth over them when you first get home & give it an hour. When you go back to the bike, they will wipe right off, works for me every time. The light lenses get cleaned with Windex, and the windshield gets wiped down with Plexus, no bugs, no issues.

I used Turtle Wax on the painted surfaces. Then Pledge furniture polish from then on. For bugs on the windshield I get my terry towel wet and lay it on the windshield. After a few minutes the towel takes the bugs with it. Then I use a poly cleaner to finish it off. Don't use Windex as it, and other similar products, are made for glass. Not the ploy our shields are made from. Glass cleaners will yellow the poly. Use a poly cleaner on the shield.

Meguiar's canuba wax works well. For bugs, a wet wet rag ,let soak, wipe off.
