Well sir, it's pretty rude of you to not give us a part number for those muffler bearings...

I was skeptical about the K&N, so I figured I'd try it. I was getting 45.9 MPG with the stock HD filter, but now I get at least 45.91 MPG from the K&N. So yes, better performance.

if all you changed was the oil filter and you're now not getting any blow-by into your intake, then that could very well be a bad thing. That oil has to go somewhere...

Forget those Timken muffler bearings. I heard from a tipsy HD parts guy that there is a guy who works 3rd shift there who has a wife that once vacationed in Japan. So that really isn't a true american product. Besides they use a 6 micron spacing between bearing rollers and the MoCo will deny any warranty claims because it exceeds the 5 micron requirement.

Wait wait wait. You guys are talking about performance and mpgs and all this. Forget oil filters and air filters larger pistons.

I switched my turn signal fluid over from the cheesy dino fluid to fully synthetic. Absolutely the best upgrade that I have ever made.

I use the OEM , however My local Napa store in my area just started stocking the wix brand filters in black and chrome.
K&N, Wix ,Fram , Champion ,OEM etc. are fine use what you want.

PC Racing oil filters, they are permanent, replacement, cleanable and they flow, clean the engine better than any other stock filters or aftermarket ones...

Check them out, have them both on 2 of my Harleys..
