I would like to use the tall shield in the winter
and the short on in the warmer months for the
RG.
Do you all think these would work for quick disconnect.
If you can find a reliable and clean way to attach the dzus spring clip on the inside, then it should be fine. You may need a small rubber washer between the sheild & outer fairing.
If you get it working, take lotas pics... I might be interested in that too.
Do what I did. Chrome skull heads fastened to the well nuts. Don't need a screw driver to take em off just un thread. Got mine from JP Cycles. You can see em in my sig pic.
My set up does take a while longer to install.
I have the RG windshield trim.
Thats the chrome one out of the catalog o7.
And I have a Rifle tall shield. trust me it takes
longer than 5 min. Under the chrome trim are
special fasteners. I would eliinate these with the dzus
system. I think the dzus fastners would suck the
shield in tight enough.
I installed chrome trim around front of windshield I would not change windshields it was a bear. I road a RG with short shield looked good but got lots of air. I have a short shield for my RK it does fine.
