yes sir the best helmet is one that FITS your head all the helmet makers shape em a bit different, hit a big show or rally that has lots of vendors and try em all on.if u have a lid that is tight in one spot u can pull the lining back and dig out a little foam for a better fit.
Arai RX-Q.It's light and quiet. If you can't find local dealer, use the sizing guidelines that the online dealers provide. Most provide one exchange if you don't get the size right the first time.I've worn mine from 30 to 90 degree weather and I really like it.Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.
+1 I used their measuring tips and got it right the first time !! I really like this helmet. Light weight and comfy. Check out their web site !!

I have an egg head and a bunch of helmets hanging around I don't wear. That being said I only wear a FF in cold weather and it is a Voss modular. Once I got it to fit correctly I am golden. Unless you are lucky and have the perfect shape head you have to MAKE the helmet fit you. That for me required a bit of lightly tapping with a small hammer and pressing with fingers/thumbs. Point is your helmet may not be perfect but may POSSIBLY be made so.
If you want a full face, find a good quality Carbon Fiber. I bought an HD FXRG last year and it is VERY light for a full face helmet. I go back to the CF half helmet in the warm weather though.....all three weeks of it!

helmets are tasters choice. I use a HD half, but I have a full face in the tour pack in case of the rain when I am out on a long trip 3,000 or miles. less than that I usee a good pair of googles and a rain jacket if it is going to get nasty. on longer trips I pack the GEAR! You never know what you'll need!
Best fit I've found is my Shoei Qwest and RF1100. They are both much lighter than most helmets I have used in the past. On. long interstate riding I use an ear plug to lessen the noise and find it more relaxing.
