96" six speed sound

96" six speed sound

I have a RKC 07. It make a noticable sound. I don't know if i can appropriately describe it but wondering if others have experienced it. It is definately something i can live with just curious if anyone else has notice this annoyance?

Does it make noise in all the gears? In 2010 hd added a new helical cut 5th gear to improve the transmissions sound, I never hear $h!T?

if its a winny sound that increases with speed its inter-bearings on the input side of the tranny. that what mine sounded like. had to have them replaced. independent dealer did it for around 800.00
