When I tried to turn it on I got this : CB not installed . see dealer.
I also got this when I tried the intercom function. Thats why I was asking , will the intercom work if there is no CB module on top of the radio. I will dig into more this weekend when I have time and talk to Iron Cross.

Take the fairing off, there either is or isn't a CB unit attached to the radio by 1 screw on top of it.it will be connected to the radio with a multi pin modular plud and by the antenna cable..it may be just disconnected...If it's disconnected just pop it back in then test it again... I hope you know how to take the fairing off..it tkake about 2 minutes...

Should be able to do this just by removing the headlight.

To me it's just as easy to remove the fairing plus i can inspect stuff in there while it's off...The last time i took the headlight out it didn't want to go back in the same way...
