Quick question... Chrome wheels are on my to do/wish list for this year.
I have a 2010 Road King. I've been considering going with the Agitators but I'm not crazy about the look of the 19 front wheel with the stock FLHR fender.
While browsing though a popular online auction site, I noticed a vendor that is doing an exchange for the stock 28 spoke cast wheels. For $579, he'll send you chromed front and back wheels and than you return your stock ones to him. The quality looks great in the pictures.... Anyone here have any experience with having your stock wheels chromed? Also, at roughly $240 each wheel, this seems to be the most economic option if you want chrome wheels. Has anyone done this? Feedback would be greatly appreciated! They look fantastic on the bikes in his pictures...
On a side note... I asked the service counter at the local dealer where I bought my bike about buying new tires (getting to be that time). I asked about Metzler & Avon options. They answered that they would only sell and install stock Dunlops.. I thought that was strange. I have no problem going to my local indie and buying my tires online. My question with this option is regarding the ABS break system... Does anything special have to be done with the ABS during a wheel/rotor change? Is this something that should be done at the dealer?
I did chrome wheel exchange with Rick's on ebay , 2 years old they look like new , quality was great , I did my rear cush drive pulley too , very happy

Here is a 19" Agitator with the stock fender on my FLHTK. Still maybe not what you are looking for, and I was wondering how it would look myself, but as it turned out I think I am going to keep it like this:

Thanks for the pic.... Yes, that looks really good! Much better perspective than the HD site... Thanks for taking the time to post it! Something else to think about... It ever ends!
