Default Bad Dyno Tune??

So I had head work and cams done. They dyno tuned and The numbers for there dyno tune is off. Take a look at the in-Hg and the correction is wrong. So now that said would you have to retune it or have them pay another shop to tune it? I think they have been fixing there sheets awhile now because I know someone that had his tuned by them last may and his in-hg is way off also...
Another problem is it shoots alittle black smoke out of the pipes when you rap on it. What causes that?

Possible valve leak. Black smoke is fuel being burnt.

Valve leak? Hornick was the baseline run you showed run at the same place? If so then yes, something is up. First I'd ask them about it and here there reson for the change. By the temps I would say it was at the same place. Also could have been a different Dyno operator and if it's blowing black smoke, alot of it I'd get it checked out before you wash your rings out, not good for a new build.
1 other reason for the black smoke, they may have your idle enrichment up so when you first crank it up it's a little rich. Is it still smoking after it's warm?

Ah man, that's too bad to hear.

Nothin' more frustrating than for indies to learn on your prize possession, is there?

Is there anybody that you know fairly well and trust that could/would check this out for you?

Good Luck and keep us posted.

A few thoughts - when I had mine dynoed a couple of years ago after a stage 1 upgrade, the in. hg. was 29.51. It sounds to me like they tuned yours in the middle of a tornado to have a pressure that low.
