Pitbull & JS jacks both made in the USA.

It's not impossible, you just gotta spend more than 99.00 for a jack to put your 25,000 HD on.

Just wondering did you not have it resting on the locks instead of the hydraulic cylinder?

Also amazes me that in all the pics in this thread I don't see any straps holding the bike to the jack.

That was my point exactly in post 45. Jack threads are about like oil threads. (and I love em! )

They're light blue in my pic, always strap when I lift. Strap fore and aft on standard types, just a front strap does fine on the high lift, bike doesn't rock front to back on that, even pulling a rear wheel.

Wow, you guys get really emotional about your jacks.

I have a J&S, I really like it and wouldnt use the others mentioned but I don't feel the need to defend my jack or slam someone elses.

I'm sure the others work, but I like I can move my bike all around a double garage at full height, no straps no wobble, one handed.

I got my J&S of CL for $200 but would gladly pay full price. I have spent a lot more on stupid chrome that wont last a lifetime like this jack will.

Emotional?? Did you not know that 90% of bikers have a period starting Nov 1 and ends May 1. What would you expect someone to be with a 6 month period.

Both are quality jacks that wont let you down!. I picked the pitbull because it went up higher than the J&S. You cant go wrong with either one.

Let me know when you can do this with your HF or sears jack and no tie downs.
