The yellow HF jack is a POS. Ultra limited sways like crazy on it by just rotating the wheel(s) tfor cleaning. I can stand on the rails of the jack and make them flex from side to side just by shifting my weight and thats only 230lbs.

I can start my SG on my PitBull jack while it's jacked up to it's highest point and it's rock solid. Try that with your HF or Sears jacks!!!! You get what you pay for......

I've started up my SG on my HF jack many a time...no problem...why would that be a problem? If it's on there solid, it's on there solid. For all the bashing of these two jacks, I've never had a problem with my Harbor Freight jack, as long as I've been smart enough to secure it when I've removed a wheel... There's a certain expectation of common sense when using any tool, and failure to apply that little bit of knowledge won't be explained away by blaming the tool!
