Hey Ya'll!. Just put some Vance and Hines Monster Ovals on my new 2013 Street Glide. I like the low sound, but I miss the "blat, blat" sound that I love associating Harley's with. What are your thoughts on the V/H Big Shot Duals?
I have the big shot duals on my sg and love them funny thing is all the guys i ride with like them except some say they look to small all the women so far say its too loud. i wanted the monster ovals because the wife liked the sound but didnt get them because my bike was wrecked when i got it and needed the front pipes total cost wouldve been around 1k I bought my big shots on ebay for 475 shipped from a place in cali i can look up the seller if you decide to try them.
I love mine. I personally don't think the are too small. Only thing is they are all one piece so there is no changing mufflers later without changing the head pipes too. I do like the fact that you can get different tips for them. The wife is getting the fishtail tips for me for my birthday next week.

Thank you guys for the input. Did you buy them brand new, for that inexpensive? Yes, please send me their info when you have a second.
a buddy of mine just pulled his off for his new setup. they sound great but his new custom bag setup won't work with his vision for the exhaust. i know he's looking to unload them, pm me if you're interested. he should be posting them in the next few days
Yes brand new you could also choose the tip they came with the loud baffles you could also get the quiet baffles for like 70 bucks here is his name directcycleparts
My pipes ended up coming from the factory thru him I just checked he doesnt have them listed now but you could prolly message him and see what he says.
Thank you for the input! I am heavily leaning towards getting me some! I am a little gun shy because I installed the Oval Slip Ons and am not happy with the low sound. It sounds like a truck with glasspacks. I want a Harley with the gurgle at idle and the loud aggressive sound that I had with my Sportster. Am I hoping for something that isn't possible? Orrrr... are these the answer??? Help.
