Motorcycles are very seasonal. As soon as winter breaks, bikes sell like hotcakes.

My local dealer also has alot of bikes both on the floor and out back waiting to get to the floor,sales guys had no concern over the strike,in fact they said it was a good time of year for it to happen.

I bet the dealers hope you are right. While checking onenewspaper I counted 90 used harleys for sale ( in august of 06 ). Alot of selection to pick from.
