As you research gps units you will find some give and takes. More techno one's? or simple? one nice feature may have replaced some control of another. eligantly simple but yet less advanced shortcuts.

The wife bought the Garmin C550 for the van, she using it now as I type for some dog show in CT. I wonder if it will also work with bike.

It will work fine, but is not the best choice for M/C use as it is not waterproof like the 2610 & the Zumo are.

IMO, Garmin makes the highest quality, most durable line of GPS units in the world. They are pretty much the line of choice in every major airline manufacturer that I know of. Service, software and updates are unbeatable. I'm sure some will disagree, but if I were going to buy a GPS, I wouldn't consider anyone else.
