I have an 07 RG, US specs. I've always considered changing the speedo for a Cdn one in kms, however I refuse to give Deeley anything. I've contacted a local print shop and am having made a vinyl kms overlay. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll forward you the web site, and pics of mine when its done.
Have the basic conversion numbers for 50km, 80km,and 100km in my head when I glance down and rarely think about it now, but will be interesting to see what yours looks like when its done are you talking about an overlay for the speedo face under the glass or on top of the glass, one process obviously being more involved.

I have already swapped out for a speedo in KPH but if I wouldn't have found this one, I was going to remove the glass and etch the KPH graduants on the inside surface by way of media blasting. Simple, free with only a little time invested. The markings would even illuminate nicely at night. Next imported bike maybe I'll do it.
All I have is the 50, 80 and 100 stickers to pass regulation on mine. Other than that I prefer the MPH speedo, without a tach it is easy for shift patterns and to remember what gear you in soooooo much easier than in KM's.
Do you have a pic of the overlay you are thinking of?

Harley should manufacture the speedo with both kph and mph just like all automotive manufacturers in the world,Oh but Deelay wouldnt be able to fleece us Canadians.I buy my Harlerys in the States.

Is that you in the picture. Were you caught out and had to stop for a #2?? Don't you just hate having your photo taken?
I have a 2006 ultra from the States no stickers, but I hear that as of this year all bikes shipped to Canada must have Canadian speedo or at least mileage under glass not on the top of speedo glass
