Default Ben's V Twins Got Me Squared Away

Hello all,

So I took my bike to the dealer last year to get rid of the spring type cam tensioners and replace them with the Screamin Eagle hybrid plate, new lifters and adjustable pushrods. Had them suggest a cam and they cam up with the SE211's (I know, wrong cam for a bagger....believe me I've beat myself up for not researching). Power was OK but at the wrong RPM for me.

Had some Andrews TW21's put in at Ben's V Twins along with different jetting for the carb, Arlen Ness Big Sucker, and a Daytona Twin Tech ignition module. Power is much better now....comes on early and is gonna be just right for those NC Mountain rides!

Highly recommend Ben for work on V twins in these parts!

Thanks for the post. I've talked to Ben's a couple of times lately about some work I want done and they seem like very knowledgeable and friendly folks. I'm a relatively new rider and have been looking for a reputable indy shop in the Charlotte area.
BTW, good lookin scoot.

Ben is good folk. I have been taking my bike there. I have an odd oil leak that I could not find and they really went through a number of things before finding and fixing. I don't see myself taking the bike to Harley any more.

Ben really knows his stuff, and his mechanic, Mark, is equally knowledgeable. I don't think you can go wrong, plus he's MUCH cheaper than the dealer.

Thanks...It's getting there!

Me either! Ben found that the Harley dealer improperly aligned the oil pump to the crank in the cam plate and it was beginning to score the inside of the plate. Not cool!
