Okay I understand what you are shooting for here. A system that you can control from your handlebar conveniently and one that raises and lowers your bike without any leaks. One that allows you to drop your ride manually etc. on demand.
Behold: www.hdsuspension.com Automatically drops your ride 2.5 inches based on speed. As you slow down it drops 1 inch per second. It defaults in auto mode unless you use the manual over-ride so that if you wish to ride around slammed you can, or raised your choice. It has no air - it is hydraulic and oil with a spring which has three rebound options. It does everything you are asking for and more.
Is it more money? - YES, it also has a full 3 year warranty. It will never bottom out even dropped all the way down. I have just surpassed 200 unit sales, why - because it works flawlessly and delivers exactly what people want - ride it and be done with it - no adjusting required, the system does it all unless you choose to manually over-ride it!
I have the Shotgun Shocks on my 2009 Ultra, got a set of the trial version shocks. Work great! Only drawback was the size of the shock itself. I ended up having to space out my bags in order for the shocks to fit without rubbing on the bags.

Well, yes and no...I don't care about slamming it to the ground and looking cool. I passed that YEARS ago. I DO care about adjusting the QUALITY of the ride while in motion. And since most of my riding on this bike will be two up with anywhere from 25-125lbs of stuff, I want to be able to have all of the travel we can without sacrificing the ride. With the Shotgun Shock, I can make it feel like a ridge frame or smooth like butter all with the touch of a switch, and carry 375 worth of people and another 90lbs of luggage and still have stock height and 4+ inches of travel...
Tell ya what...I'll bite. Shoot me a PM with a phone number and let's talk.
