Default Speaker upgrade

2008 SG. NOT looking to add an amp at this time but I'm wondering which would be the more bang-for-my-buck upgrade: replace stock speakers or Hogtunes Tweeter Pod? Thanks!

if youre not adding an amp, and want a great speaker for around $100 check out the Polk 651's , 2.7 amp (fine with stock HU) they get great raves here on the forums. If you want to add an amp later (I bet you do!!) you'll be all set.
I have the J&M Rokkers (XTC) and I heard them last weekend without an amp and they were beyond terrible. I run them with a 300w amp and they really come alive - i couldnt be happier (with them powered by an amp!!) So dont by the Rokkers if your not getting an amp. BTW J&M are also very $$. Just my 2 cents..

89, Check out the Audio Systems forum. Lot of love for the Polk mm651's over there, and then when you get a amp these work great with Sound Stream amp. Ck Ultra Nutz set up over there that way you won't waste money!

Not to hijack, but with adding 6.5's are you going to need an adapter to make them fit?

then you can always add one of our new performance amps to them if you want more power ,,,, see http://www.jmcorp.com/ProductDetail....=JMAA-1800HC06 ,,,,,,,

just let us know how we can be of assistance ,,,,,,
