Exclamation Not for me...

I put one of these on a Mazda Miata and it leaked BAD!!! I could have just got a bad one but that experience was enough to let me know I didn't want to try another one...

I kinda like to see how full my tank is and I would think being so close it might shut off before the tank was full?

Another reason this cap is bad is it would instantly kill off that legendary thread here on HDF about "where do you put your cap when you fill up?"

Well I forgot my cap on a long trip up to PA, and now I'm just looking to not spend $50 on a HD replacement.

Does anyone have the standard Stant gas cap # so I can go get one from Wally world?

dropped mine this summer and the vent part fell out , did not want to trust it from leaking so I bought a new one and put the broken one in my saddle bag for the time I forget mine or some one in my group , any way don't remember exactly how much it was but thought it was only like $15 or so from my local dealer

I can't see any way to prevent a little dust getting into the tank with every fill up. Enough dirt seems to get in anyway, Adding more seems counter productive.

Speaking of gas caps.....do any of you have an opinion on the flip cover that accesses the gas cap/tank on the new touring models? Fueling will take on new acrobatics.

I guess I don't see what's different from previous years.
