Default Fill Through Gas Cap

Does anyone know of a fill through gas cap for touring bike. Here is a link for a car model.

http://www.toolsource.com/instant-fi...d=bingshopping

I have this feature on my ford truck and love it.

Dumb question alert: Does your truck's Stant gas cap fit on your bike? I want one too.

I'd Bet not.
In your car or truck the fill port is 2-3' from the tank,
You sit awfully close to the fill port-tank on the bike.

No its built-in on my truck. I sent an email to stant to see if part 41001 would work on the bike. Have not got a response yet but it should be the right size and threads.

have seen them on cars and I think I know what you are talking about with the little spring loaded door on it # 1 it may not seal enough on a bike , the gas is alot closer to it and # 2 when I fuel my bike I kind of roll the nossel into the tank so I don't pour gas all over it from the gas in the nossel , so I don't think it is a good idea myself but will follow along

That would sure keep me from leaving the cap at the gas station every 3-5 months... I got to start carrying an extra??? Sucks getting old!

I hold onto mine and then use it as a stop so to speak to cover nozzle when I remove the nozzle from the bike so I don't drip gas on the bike after filling
