Bad idea. I have this on two vehicles and it serves it's purpose, but there is a reason that the put an overflow 2-3 inches below this device...it doesn't seal like a gas cap does. So you'd end up with gas potentially all over you while you ride.
I haven't seen any difference, either...

My check engine light comes on when theres not a vacuum tight seal on my vehicles and when I fill the bike its 1/2" from the top on the kickstand. When you straighten the bike up your going to have an interesting condition if the cap doesnt seal properly.

Widgets like this are standard equipment on cars in Europe, but they never appear on motorcycles - there absolutely must be a reason why that is...
