Nothing. They are easy to take on and off, unlike leather pants. You can pee without taking them off. If I couldn't use them I would go for textile overpants.

I finally bought chaps this past winter and I wish I would have done it earlier. Nothing better. I will get heated pants for the really cold days, but the chaps are probably more versatile and easier to get on and off. Try out the chaps, you may like them.
