Take 1431 out of Cedar Park/Leander as far as Marble Falls. It is one of my favorites. The Devil's Backbone for sure.

Yeah man. It's dumping on us here. Have 12" plus on the ground and 4-8 more inches overnight. We so much needed it though. Very wet high moisture snow. Something we rarely get. It's usually champagne powder.

the salt lick in dripping springs is great.
All the roads to the west of austin are great
Coopers BBQ in Llano is top notch
he Roarng fork on Congress is a good place to feed and drink.
Fredricksbug is a cool town

Fri Canyon Motorcycle shop has the trademark of "I did 3 Twisted Sisters" so you have to go there to get one of there T-shirts.

There is a little bed and breakfast in Utopia that is pretty nice, a couple hundred yard from the B&B runs a creek that is swimmable and they have a long driveway coming into a horsehoe drive at the building and the horseshoe area has an auto deer feeder that draws em in by the dozen.. Can't recall the name but Utopia aint that big and someone in town would probably know about it
