Bearing Failure
2011 FLHTK, 23,000 miles.
Symptoms: Bike running rough 1500-2000rpms when hot, bike feels like it's fighting itself, lack of horsepower. Rear Wheel chips during downshifts or letting off throttle in 6th gear.
Diagnosis and Repair: Rear Wheel bearing replaced, rear pulley (Sprocket) bearings replaced, drive chain tensioner adjusted (stuck, not autoadjusting).
The belt rear pulley bearings were not covered by the extended warranty (which makes no sense) but the dealer replaced them free to me
Cost $50 for extended warranty deductible.

I don't know why the Extended Warranty did not cover the rear Pulley bearings, makes no sense.. Maybe dealer was BSing me and just trying to make me feel good for future work.
So far but only rode it like 10 miles this morning...will see later today when it's hot out!
Oh by running rough, I didn't mean the engine..hard to describe...a vibration through the bike.
