hmmm my 09 Fatbob with 14000kms had the rear bearing changed under warranty. The tech told me the bearing should not have died on me but it had a lot of wobble. anyone else?
Well call harely two days ago, told them about the rear bearing was leaking.
they told me they are sealed and shouldnt leak. got to the dealer today, and
check my bike and said we will do it right away no charge..my rear tire was at
2/32, so i change the tires at the same time.they charge me 15.00 for the replacement..
got great service, didnt have to fight for my warranty like my front forks that had rust...
so very happy, though i let you know....check the rear bearing....
Cant say much about my rear bearing, but the front fork rust issue seems interesting. FATBOB.. what did ya do, and say to the Stealers. did they honor it under warranty??

yes they did..took about 5 phone call at harley direct and 3 at the dealer..
took about 3 weeks before they decide to do it....i told them that it is not
understandable that you buy a new car and you have a 5 years warranty
on rust . the car is always outside, in the rain, and snow and calcuim..
i also told them when i finish washing my bike i use a compresser to blow
the water off the bike... good luck with the forks..
OH! that is an awful looking spot. I'll be sure to check mine over before it goes in next week for a starter issue. The damn starter works well every second time.Every other time it sounds like it wantst turn it's engaged but doesn't have the power to turn the engine. All cables and connections are tight,it happens when cold or hot, they want the bike for a week and summers just starting here half way through august.I'm loosin' it I swear!
I 've too have exact same thing on one of my forks. The warranty guy at my dealership is taking care of it for me. Hey Fatbob, sorry to here you had to do the leg work.
