I can't give you any feedback specifically on the Memphis Shades version - but I got a set of LRS Hawg Wings (pic from their website below).
Look pretty much the same to me?
I think I paid a little less with the 40% discount I got off from LRS (I think they still have that discount going?)
I don't have any interest in LRS- just like their products I have bought so far.
They made a noticeable difference to me in reducing the wind buffeting from off the sides of the fairing coming by the tank. Those combined with a taller 7" shield I put on- feels like the buffeting is 100% better than without them and the stock 4" shield.
Rucker00; I replaced my HD ones with these. These look a lot better and direct the wind farther away from you than the HD ones. The color of the black one which I got is see thru and not solid... FYI.. you will love it. It reduces the wind noise by about 40-50%.
Fuzzy: Thanks for the heads-up on the fact that they are see thru, and I'm cool with that. I'm leaning in this direction because it sounds like they will work fine and they have a curve to them that is more inline with the curves of the fairing (rather than just straight flat like others I've seen).
ALL: I'll post pics when I get them installed so that you all can compare. Thanks for the input.
I ordered them last week, received them and installed them yesterday, and rode with them this morning. I think they work and look great. Highly recommend and at a great price with many color options. $30 out of JP Cycles.
