Stator Plug Fix
Hey Everybody,
I have a 2010 Ultra Limited with 40,000 miles. I started seeing oil drips under the bike every morning and couldn't see where the oil was coming from. I took the bike to the dealer and was told the Stator Plug was leaking and the repair estimate was $500, I couldn't bring myself to replace a stator that still works so after reading this forum I slid a 9/16" o-ring down over the plug and worked it in around the edges of the stator plug where it leaves the case. Eventually as I kept flexing the plug, the o-ring slid down in between the plug and the case. The fix worked the leak is stopped and I can save my money for cams. Thanks to everybody who posts on this forum.

Did that on my old softail, started to leak again after a while,
took a hypodermic needle and syringe with brake clean, shoot in around plug ,dry with compressed air, repeat till clean and dry,
then used silicone in the syringe, still dry after a year.
