Oh its already getting 16" Burly apes, braided cables, chrome switch housings, master cylinder, clutch perch, levers etc, chrome fork legs, chrome wheels.....so to answer your question, stock lasted about 5 minutes LOL !!

I dunno, i'm just the opposite. I get very attached to my bike and don't really want anything other than mine. Had a 74 ironhead i got when i was 16 that was chopped and changed dozens of times over the years, then i had an 83 FLT shovelhead, which i would still have if i hadn't lost it in a garage fire, and now i have my 2000 road king. it's just how i want it, and i don't care for riding other bikes.

Okie blue, Congrats on the RK...I am a fan of the get a second bike....I have more than I want to admit wrapped up in mine (my 1st), anyway at least I know which one will be my next! Hopefully I will get lucky and get to keep this 1st one.

Same problem here. I've had 2 Road Kings, a Street Glide and an Electra Glide Classic and now I'm back to a Road King. Why do we do it? Because it's fun. And evidently that's where we want to spend our money, because we keep doing it. Some folks would call it a rich man's problem.
