Real quick I have a chance to purchase these (Progressive Suspension 31-2501 Monotube Fork Cartridge Lowering Kit)under 300.00 for my 2011 SG with a 21" front wheel. Want to get it back down to factory height..So do I lower 2 or 1. And will i have to purchase anything else.
1" drop with just 2 C clips will get you what you want with your 21" front wheel. Oh, and 31-2501 is the right number for the Touring bike lowered version.
And you can get them brand new for under $300 on Amazon and other vendors.
I got these monotubes also and went with 3 clips and like the ride. Suggestion: go to the harley store and get new 6mm bolts for the front forks. If you have any questions about install let me know.
