my volume would jump really loud.
i could see the radio volume going from 34-35-34-35..
the down volume would turn up the radio and i had to manually turn it down.
the next song button would not work.
i sent biketronics an email, but never heard back from them.
i took it out and went back to stock after the last ride.

its made to do that...if you do not want it I will buy it......
I had the BT installed with a Sony deck back in 2005 on my 05 FLHTI. I haven't had one issue with the BT portion. The deck is finally starting to go, but it's a standard mp3 unit (not marine) and been in my bike for about 8 years now. I say money well spent. The volume fluctuates as I ride, but that's what it's supposed to do (nothing major really).
I need to check with BT now to see if I can keep the original until and get a new Sony deck, or if I have to buy a new BT unit. I'm hoping the former, but then they make the kit that will work with the other head units as well, so maybe I should just go that direction anyways......
Biketronics is the biggest POS made. Junk.... I went through 2 units ans still don't work right. Don't waste your money.
My first one didn't work right so I emailed them and I got a reply back. I answered their questions and never heard back again. I called them and got a new unit but I had to pay shipping both ways. What a warranty. NOTE to biketronics..... if you have a customer with a warranty complaint at least pay for shipping to your customer.
This unit ain't worth the box its shipped in. I pulled mine out and went with HAWG WIRED.
