Hi all,
Could be the case. Anyway, it doesn't cost me anything but time to try. Think I'm gonna contact both PD and DA. Let's see what they say about the case.

We had a shift linkage ordered and it had a problem

We sent it back on RMA to get repaired and it's been 7 months

We've talked to them on the phone twice and they are having plating problems

He had to change platers so that was a big delay

Still waiting for our product to be returned

It was supposed to be 7 weeks ago the last time we talked with them

Can you believe this ? My first email from them just arrived...
Could have been funny if it was not about 1200 bucks...
I quote :
" I regret to inform you that Wicked Image has closed its doors and is no longer in business. Our business credit card processing service and bank accounts were closed long before your order. It is not possible for your card to have been charged. I apologize for your inconvenience.
Their may be the possibility of new ownership taking over in coming months. "

I think it's definitely time to contact the local DA for consumer fraud...

For what it's worth..... I was in the industry for 15 years, and I was a selling dealer for their product line (mostly wheels). I went thru this bullshit with Wicked Image time after time after time. Orders shipped one piece at a time, sometimes taking up to a year to get the complete order, only to discover flaws and mistakes, Nothing more than crooks in my opinion.

i heard that they had hired chuck ruiz to give them tips on "deluxing" customers...seems that they learned well.

now that you have an e-mail stating that your credit card could not have been charged and it has indeed been charged, there is a chance that a district attorney would look at this as criminal fraud. cetainly worth contacting the authorities.

Think you're right. Could raise the interest of the Special prosecution bureau of the local DA if my money does not reappear promptly...
