A couple of questions for the OP- What are the tire pressures? What are your shocks and if they are air adjustable what is the pressure? What is your weight and if a passenger was riding about what is her weight? How loaded and how evenly distributed were the saddlebags? When did you last check your steering head fall-away and how was the number of swings vs. where you ought to be?
I'm sure there's more but I'm in a hurry...

had an 01, did everything under the sun to fix this problem, everything I did made it better, but never got good, or even acceptable results, just "ok" at best then I finally fixed the problem, completely...... got an 09 bike. night and day difference. you can make that wobble better but it will never be as good as the new frame

You can do everything above and some bikes just wont quit the "wobble" in those sweepers if you go fast. I got rid of a 07 streetglide for just that reason years ago. What you are experiencing is a high speed wobble due to the design of the swingarm mounting system Harley used prior to the 09's. Some of the replies you've gotten have to do with a frontend "shake" that can happen on any bike due to mechanical problems, poor maintenance etc. Do not go fast till you figure out what is causing your issue.

Grbrown has the issue covered. There are also some good discussions on one of the "Harley Tech" forums. My 01 RKC fortunately did not have the high speed wobble but..... even without the problem I swapped out the pre 02 Swingarm using HD parts for the bushings and bearings sleeving them to the 5/8" axle and used new rubber frame mounts. Added a brace just to cover the chance something loosened up before I caught it. And got rid of the wire spoked wheels. For me the wheels were the greatest improvement along with upgraded tires. Swapping out the air suspension parts with aftermarket shocks front and rear greatly improved ride quality.

A properly sorted suspension shouldn't exhibit terrible handling and a 12 year old bike even with low miles like mine still needs to have the basics gone over. To fix a wobble problem, it's not just one thing that needs to be looked at , but the whole system that needs to be addressed.

I purposely did not list the after market parts I used as I believe most are a personal preference and doing your research is the key to getting your ride the way you want it.

if u don't like the idea of an add on brace with can lower ground clearance or getting in the way of drain plugs or jacks, look at glide pro or sat bo.

If you dont take this advice consider trading up to at least a 09. (upgade is cheaper) Even then I have expience the wobble 2 up at 70mh plus on a bridge with sectional dips (09 SG). Made it thru the turn but had me pondering what had happened till I actually thought and read about it. Check out U tube if you want to see it in a second person veiw.
