Starter problem only when hot

This may sound weird, but how's your battery? ....I was having similar hot start problems last year on my '09. It would sound like the starter gear was slipping. The battery was ok but was getting just a little slow. I put in a new battery and is hasn't happened since. I 've seen in other threads were others had the same issue. Just something you might want check...

That is the first thing HD did to mine with a high torque starter, new grounding strap, still had the grind...New stock compendator...still a grind, now i will have a Screaming Eagle installed in the next few weeks and we will see.
