I tried searching the forum before posting this but didn't really find anything. I'm looking for chrome lower legs for my Ultra. If anyone knows of any good places online to order from I would appreciate if you could link them. I'm in a time crunch cause its almost birthday time and I gotta let the wifey know what I want.
I just got mine from HD. You will need more than just the lowers to do the front end. The part is called the cowbell I think. Anyway you can just order an entire chrome front end kit with all the bits you need included.
PS a buddy of mine is getting his powder coated to match the bike. But you could stip, polish and buff yours, then clear powder coat them, or even clear coat paint them. Properly polished aluminum looks kickass!
***** Shiny has a great chrome exchange program and will save you some money too.
He does, but unfortunately, he also has a waiting list. Because of an article in American Bagger magazine, he sold out of all of his lower legs. I've been waiting a month of so for him to call me back to get a set.
I ought to give him a call and see if he's gotten caught up yet.
I bought mine on ebay from seller rick9662. Exchange program. Quick shipper. Perfect chrome job. He does slider covers as well though I didn't need them. $214 total after all said and done.
