Priming Fuel Injection System

Unhappy Priming Fuel Injection System

I have a 2010 CVO Ultra (FLHTCUSE5). I recently had the bike disassembled for paint... the bike is back together but it won't start.

The fuel tank was drained, the pump primes but doesn't appear to get fuel to the injection system.

Is there a quick way to prime the injectors? or check that they're getting fuel?

I very seriously doubt you have a "priming" problem. The pump would run and run until it built up pressure. You say it won't start. That's not much help. What EXACTLY does it do and not do? You might even take it back to whoever did the work. Something seems unconnected.

Dumb things first... The fuel line is connected (on both ends) from the tank to the fuel rail, right? Been there before myself I'm sad to say.

hi . remove 1 spark plug. put some gas in the hole screw plug back.engine will start and remove the air in tube.or remove air filter spray some gas in it .mrfuji

@Mrfuji, will this work for sure? I just replaced o-rings in quick disconnect, did it correctly but now my 2005 Softail acts like its not getting any gas. And i have gas flow from tank thru fuel line. But might have an air pocket from there.

If you have gas flow from the tank through the fuel line (how did you verify this) theres no where to have an air pocket other than the injectors and with the electric fuel pump supplying pressure, cranking it over a couple times would have pushed any air out. Its a lot easier to verify you have spark before thinking you have a fuel supply issue.
