All of the products mentioned work well and can give good results when used as directed, but I still get a little irked at the price and limited coverage you get for one bottle. Most all of them are chemical strippers and once it starts to gum up it's done and requires another squirt. I've been using corn starch (old school as Hell, but it works!) with a low speed power polisher for years. I've used it on cars and trucks from the early sixties up through mid 2000s, including a couple of Vettes. Make a paste and let the polisher do the work. As it starts to dry, just add a little more water and keep going. It might take a little longer, but I'm not usually in that big a hurry. That said, I can certainly understand why you wouldn't want to experiment on your Harley... just tossing it out there. Try it on a lawn mower or something - you might be surprised!
