I do not recommend the PIAA 1100 lights. They are very powerful, but the bulbs only last for one year ,and cost $45 Each to replace. I had a set on my last bike and had to buy 4 bulbs in 2 1/2 years.

The Moto lights so far have gone 2 years, and bulbs are replaced free for as longas you own the bike.

OK, based on a few folks recommendations here, I went out andbought the foglights for my RG, they don't fit. The bottom of the RG fairing bracket just hits the top of the fog light when mounted, and I mean just hits it. Many miles of riding would put some serious gouging in the light. If you try to slide the light further from the RG bracket, you soon start to hit the radious change of the engine guard bend, so thenthe clamps wont fit right.

I'm not giving up, I figure a shim under the foglight bracket to lower the light a few 64ths of an inch should do it.

My buddy's RG is an '05; what's your's--I heard that the fairing changed on the RG and perhaps that accounts for the clearance issue on your bike. I will check his installation when I see him next.

SoCal, did your friend's bike have the lowers like yours?? If so how and where did you mount them.

Update, I have a 2000 Roadglide with stock oem non chrome brackets, the foglights don't fit. So, i bought the chrome brackets, foglights still won't fit, but it's better. So I'm working on a bracket using footpeg clamps, some 1/8 thick bar stock, can of spray paint.
The foglight kit also says nothing about NOT fitting a FLTR, only in the parts book does it mention that. Why? I think the interconnect cable and stock extra light switch which an eglide has, and RG does not. No big deal to make it work.

Thanks for the update; glad it worked out for you. I have the HD fog lights on my '04 EG and recommend them for safety (especially for daytime riding). Would add fairing lowers, but won't give up the fog lamps (not yet, anyway), and the near $400 for moto lights isn't happening for me.

I'm also looking at using a bracket from kury, it uses the RG front turn signal mount and allows you to mount a HID or other type of light.
