I'll be installing factory ACR heads on my 2010 Ultra in the near future when I do the FM 107 upgrade. I was wondering what tool is needed to remove the wires and swap them in the main plug harness? I already have a complete set of 2011 ACR heads and the new harness from HD.
Any suggestion would be appriciated.
You won't be swapping wires. The harness is an add-on connecting the ACR's to the main fuse block. And adding one lead to the ECM connector pin 19. I didn't use special tools on anything. You can improvise on what you need. You will be rearranging some wires in the fuse block. That was the hardest part. It's a very tiny space to work in. And the instructions to do it are confusing. Not easy. Next was working with the ECM connector. It's a little tricky. Be careful. Learn how to work with it. It's easily damaged. When in doubt ask for help. Don't be in a hurry. There's plenty of help here.
Thanks for all the replies. I heard that there was a tool that's makes removing these wires from the harness easier. Any help in that direction would be appreciated being that this is my main concern and don't want to screw that up.

You won't be removing any wires from the harness. But you will be switching some wires around and adding some to the fuse block. It's the hardest part of the job. The fuse block is a Packard 280 metri-pak. Your Service manual has a section on it showing how to take it apart and add/remove wires. You won't really need any special tools. Maybe a very small flat screwdriver. Don't force anything.
I am having my motor built and installing the MVA heads with acr's. I read in the installation instructions that after hooking up the acr's, you need to reflash the ecm BEFORE you start the engine otherwise you will damage the ecm. I was planning to wire everything up except pin 19 and just take it to the dealer and have them hook it up and reflash (I hate giving $$ to dealers). Anyone have a different way to do it?

I used my SEPST to turn the ACR's on. You won't damage anything by starting it up and riding it without pin 19 wired or touching ground. The ACR's will simply not open. If you wire pin 19 and don't reflash, that could cause problems. In any case call your service guys and ask them what to do.
I plan on upgrading to the Power Vision from my current PCV at the time of install. I was told that you can turn on the ACR's with the PV. Hopefully this is correct.
I am dumping the SERT and going PC this time, so I will have the ecm reflashed after the build. Maybe now they can tweek my speedo error so the CC works up to 85 like its supposed to.
