Ihave VH true deuls on my rode glideand everybody says thereterrible pipesfor torque I'm also in the middle of a build my engine builder and everyone else say 2 into 1 the way to go, problem I hate the way they look, is there any true deuls that are any good
I,also have v/h true duels on my 07 elect/glide also s/e race pipes, the guy who did my dyno tuning told me the same thing,he suggested the rhinehearts, good luck
It is true that 2-1 pipes will give you the most power. It is also true that the stock pipes are supposedly more power than the duals. It all depends on how much tiny torque you are willing to lose. I love the looks of the duals and I am not concerned about losing a little bit of torque of the looks and the loss of heat on the right side. Personal preference.
let me also add that since the tunning i have not ridden the bike due to having 4 feet of snow on the ground, but here are the dyno numbers 67hp and 83tq. pipes,a/c and pclll are the only mods

In a word.....NO[8D] Unless you have a large inch motor, then tru-duals win. Do your build as a package using all the parts that compliment each other. A couple of pounds of torque or a few horseies are huge on a bike. 5 foot pounds or 5horse make a big difference.
I have Rinehart true duels for now but I'm switching over to the D&D Fatcat 2 into 1 with My new build.I've talked to everyone that I can find to talk about this build and all of them told Me to get rid of the duels if I want some real torque.I'm not crazy about the look either but I love HP an torque so I'm gonna do the swap.I've ran a 2 into 1 on all My other bikes and I know they perform.I guess it just depends on what you want out of your ride, looks or performance.
if i felt like i needed more torque...i'd first add torque cones....then i'd STROKE IT ...true duals belong on a bagger IMO...90ftlbs @ 2000rpm, plenty of grunt
