Default electra

i have a 1985 electra new battery hit the the starter button and it just clicks sometimes it has a slow turn over and a gurgleing sound any ideas

there are basic electrical checks to do first- this comes up about every three days...

also your bike has the evo motor- there is a forum for the evos which you'll find helpful- alot of the Guys here are more up on late models...the evo forum guys have a good grasp on the "what fits what" and the quirks of the evo rides.

2. Check your connections...
3. Did I mention to Check your grounds & connections??

think it may be solenoid took it off and it rattles and one of the connectors just spin inside

That handles a lot of power while starting, so best replace it with new.
