Hey, thanks guys...
Update..

Turns out my bike does have a K&N air filter under the stock cover. My pipes are Vance and Hines 4in, straight thru pipes, and I have a HD ProTune 2.

My buddy bought some new cans for his bike, so we stuck his Screamin Eagles on mine. They're a little more restrictive, but it helped the bike a lot. It runs much better, but lost a little power.
So I'm guessing my previous thought of the bike running lean was correct.

Know, thanks to another friend, I've got a set of 3.5 in Reinhart's I'm installing today, and I'm going to play with this ProTune 2. Hopefully it all works out..

Thanks again guys, and I'll give an update later.

Mick

Find someone near you that is proficient with Direct Link tuning. Direct Link, by Techno Research just came out with a new and different way to tune MM bikes, and it WORKS!

I installed the Rineharts, and plugged my laptop into the ProTune2. Found it was still set to stock.. I programmed a Stage 1 setting and the bike runs great now.
I will be installing an EV27 cam next.

Thanks everyone.
