It all started off with the HD Brawler. I loved the seating position of the Brawler but, as time went on, I realized I needed a backrest if I was going to be taking longer rides.
After researching as many seats as possible, reading reviews till my eyes hurt, looking at as many pictures of seats as possible and, finally, asking other Touring HD riders if I can plant my rear on their bike to see how it feels. I finally came to the conclusion that CC Seats were the one for me.
Chuck custom made a leather solo seat for my 08 RK that moved me back an inch and with the backrest. If the Brawler was good, the CC Solo was light years ahead of that! The seat turned out fantastic except for one small issue. I called Chuck and discussed this with him and sent pictures of, what I thought, was the problem. He requested that I send the seat back so that they could inspect it. He even sent me a UPS prepaid shipping label in order to send it back! That was Thursday of last week.
I called this last Tuesday and spoke to Dave who told me they built me a brand new seat with the problem corrected!! I just received the new seat about 30 minutes ago and everything looks perfect!!
As you can tell, the reason for this post is to commend Chuck, Chuey and Dave at CC Seats for their exemplary customer service! CC Seats have me as a customer for life.
I only wish they made custom leather seats for my Wifes Prius!
They are all stand up guys there at C&C...had an issue with my backrest and they fixed it on the spot. Luckily I live local to them. Customer service and quality is 2nd to none.
Here's mine..hard to see the Red stitching. I also have the bigger passenger pillion with matching stitching...not mounted as you can see.

I've dealt with Dave and he was an awesome guy. I called last minute to see if they had a seat I was looking for when I an unexpected trip out there. He didn't but said he would have one ready for me when I got out there the next day. Sure enough it was sitting on the counter when I showed up...and it even saved me a couple bucks...
I've their solo w/ a backrest (customized so I sit lower and back some). Also had them redo the HD backrest on my Chopped TP in matching leather. Very nice looking and very comfortable. I've one 10 day trip and 13,00 mi on the seat. Comfy.
About a year into use a flaw developed in the leather. Sent it back; they recovered the whole seat. My family are furniture makers, so I've a good eye for tyhis stuff. C&C is fantastic. I gladly give them the very higfhest marks in quality and customer service. Plus I feel very good about supporting small, local shops.
