I have a 2011 ultra and was thinking of putting a streetglide windshield on it , I live in FL and its getting hot, Has anyone had good luck with this setup. Thanks.
If your talking about what the Street Glide comes with from the factory, I sure wouldn't call it a windshield.
Most Street Glide owners change that windscreen out first thing.
Get one of the many brands out there that are shorter than you Ultra's but slightly taller than the factory Street Glide, and has a "re-curve" to it.

Yes, i currently have a stock sg shield on my electraglide classic. I wear a full face helmet and believe its better to look over the shield rather than through it. The stock 12 inch clear shield was the first to go. Bought a 9 inch LRS recurve in light tint and it looked great but was still to tall for me at 5 11 it also cracked from the mounting hole after 2 weeks so id definitely go for a polycarbonate or lexan shield next time. The SG shield works fine but its a hair low, too dark and doesnt have a lip to shoot the air up and over. My next one will probably be a 7 inch recurve polycarbonate in light tint
I put a SG windshield on mine first but swap for a KW 6,5". I don't want to be like in a car but i want something which looks good and works. In my opinion, oem SG windshield do not work on an Ultra because of the seat.
