Default Hand grips......need some input

Novelties and trinkets are OK for my bike but one thing I MUST have is comfortable hand grips. My dad and I ride distances and comfortable hand grips are imperative.

Please take a few seconds and make the following suggestion.

What have you found that is comfortable?

I know this is crazy and a lot of people will dispute it but the stock grips are the most comfortable for me because I have big hands. Whenever I've had grips with the chrome ****-like end it cuts into the outside palms of my hands during long rides. If you have big hands that's something to consider.

Very comfortable.

get a grip that fits your hand. if you have large hands, then a larger diameter grip. I have large diameter HD Leather grips, really feel good.

I too have large hands and change the grips right away with the Kury ISO Grips. The diameter works well ant the rubber pads help the vibes a lot. This past week end I put the ISO Throttle boss on even though the RKC has cruise for the time you can't really engage cruise and rode all day and got zero cramps in the palm. Alright now bring on the palm cramp jokes..............................

Kuryakyn Iso grips - very popular...absorb vibrations...do a search...you don't need the throttle boss as you have cruise control.

I saw some at a rally and I cannot for the life of me remember the name but they had gel inserts to relieve pressure points on your hands while riding......................anybody know the name and have experience with them?...........are they a gimmick?

Thanks for the input so far, much to look at.

I like my heated HD Chrome & Rubber P/N 56174-03B (these are teh large size grips). My hands aren't bear claws by any stretch of the imagination. I wear a large glove. We have the HD heated flame grips on the wife's Deluxe, and they just feel small to me.

heated grips...just something else to go wrong! Invest in a good pair of riding gloves..it's your knuckles that get cold..not the palm of your hand.
