My wife bought me a shock pump for my bday and I have to tell you this has to be one of the best investments so far I only had 8 lbs of air in bike well needless to say I put 28 lbs and went for 300 mile ride with wife WOW what a difference some air makes on your bike Definitely worth the price
Do you really find that the pressure in the shock drops off that often? I'm not being a wisea$$ - seriously hadn't thought about it so I'm wanting to learn more.
Better than buying a pump is having a neighbor with one. But seriously thinking about going to an air ride system. Have a shotgun on the fatboy but not an option for the SG.

Dave, this is your neighbor... you have officially been cut off.
I finally bought one a few weeks back and love it. WHen I bought it I hadn't put any air in since last season (25lbs) and it was down to 5lbs when I bought the pump. I just checked again yesterday (3 weeks after pump purchase) and it was down to 10lbs. So now I keep it in the saddlebag and adjust as needed!
i also fell victim to getting one......... easy to use, the dealer here gives 10% off for veterans, and 5% off for purchasing accessories while your bike is being serviced (in my case it was getting the tour pack cushion replaced under warranty)... so i got a total of 15% off a 49.99 pump, can't complain to much about that.
i've used mine about 4 times, changed pressure to see how the ol lady like the different ride. is it worth 50 bucks, doubt it... is it kinda handy... gotta admit, that yes it is!
Now that we determined that the pump is worth the $50 I know that the older bikes used less pressure than the new ones. What is the pressure you are running in what year Harley carrying what weight?
