Default Backrest help needed!!!!

I've got a 2012 street glide and I bought a cvo road glide 2 piece seat for it yesterday. I put about 200 miles in the saddle so far and I LOVE it but... My bride says that the pillion makes her feel like she sits too straight up. I've got the standard height detachable pass backrest. My question is if anyone knows of any other mount or bracket that leans the backrest back any or any way to "recline" it?

I think your best solution for this is to add a tour pak. The standard backrests do not recline at all. There is a company that makes one that is adjustable but the name escapes me.

Default backrest

I've seen some aftermarket detach backrest/luggage rack combos that appear to be adjustble front and back.

let me know how you and your lady like the seat. I am considering the same setup but like to ride so wanted to be sure I could do a 14 hour day in that saddle without troubles.

Well I don't guess many folks have had the same problem based on the number of replies. Thanks to those of you who did!! After some serious evaluating, I have figured out the problem. The passenger pillion sat to low in the front, making my bride slide forward under braking. The pillion is super low profile compared to the mustang seat she was used to, so the backrest was way to high now. The height of it was making her lean forward to much.
I fixed both problems after working on it until 2 a.m. and now she is super happy with the seat and so am I!!! It is an awesome saddle if you can get your hands on one! One dealer told me that it was a "locked" part number and I could only order it if I owned the bike it came on. The other dealer was gonna bypass all that...but the tag on it was $1,100!! That was a no go for me! While I was there, a guy bought a 13 cvo road glide and wanted an ultra seat. I got this one for $500 with 0 miles on it. I was super pumped with $600 off the tag.
To fix the problem, I put new studs in the fender that were an inch longer than factory. I then used flange nuts to secure the solo seat to the fender. Over those I put a lock nut so I can adjust the height up or down. When the thumb screw bolts mount on top of the lock nuts, it locks. It gives me a little over an inch adjustment either up or down for the pillion and the solo stays in place. When the pillion is off, the leather flap on back of the solo totally covers the bolts and studs.
Then I took the pad off the standard height backrest mount and took the cover off. I cut a new groove in the plastic tray inside the pad for the mounting bar to sit in. Then I shaved down some of the foam inside the pad. I recovered it with the factory cover and stapled it back up. You can't tell it was ever touched and it moved it down to between the height of the standard mount and the low mount. My wife said it is perfect and it looks SSSOOO much better!

All and all, this is my favorite seat that I've ever owned. I've had several mustang, corbin, lapera, an factory on various bikes. This is the winner, hands down. I hope this post helps somebody with these problems. All the mods to the seat were free with use of things we all have. I don't know how to post pics or I would, sorry.

Oh and for you guys looking for a seat to get your feet on the ground, it does that too. My buddy couldnt flat foot a street glide that was an inch lower plus the reach seat and he can with this one. Im 5'11" and it dropped me far enough down that I had to take my klock werks shield off and go to a stock, so I could see over it. The stock actually works pretty good when you get low enough into the bike.
