Default Clutch Cable

So I was in the Harley dealer the other day and saw they had this brand new sg set up with bars and everything you can think of. I noticed the clutch cable to the inner hole had a ton of slack in it. Is it supposed to be like this. I put new bars on and kept mine snug to the hole. Just curious to what people have done or if you have seen this before

It may not be adjusted properly. It wouldn't surprise me if it came shipped needing to be gone over. There's a checklist the dealership is supposed to go thru before they turn over a bike, that's the bike prep charge on the invoice.

Well the cable was tight it was just way to much slack that it bent back towards the rider. Usually from what I have seen the cable comes from the handle straight to the hole and its fairly snug. Sorry I can't explain it better and sorry for not getting a pic

They just put the wrong cable on it. There isn't anywhere to hide it.
