how well i agree, i have just a little over $1750 in a complete exhaust system, A/C, cams, tuner and dyno. I did all the installation of the parts myself so i saved a sh!tload of coin on this install! it has been a ongoing project since i got the bike back in December of 2011. The Crew at CycleRama are great at what they do, numerous wins at dyno shootouts and experianced builders of HP and Torque bikes since 1979! they are the only ones in this area i will trust my motor work to. the next closest is Doc up in Mineola, FL he is the one who told me i should be right about where i am with the set up i have!

I assume that my first dyno was a happy one and my second was a real one. As many have said, if you are happy with the result vs money spent, you are golden!

A good point about 'happy' dynos, but there are other factors that can give the feel of better performance. I had TDs on my bike for a while, then changed to a 2-into-1 and had the bike dynoed by the same dyno shop and operator for both set ups. I lost 1HP and gained 4TQ, at peak performance, however picked up 15% TQ in the low/mid range. My bike feels entirely different and is greatly improved. You could well have picked up a lot of torque in the range you normally ride in.

Also, you can shave about 3-5% off because they used STD correction factor, which is almost always higher than the more standard and comparable SAE correction factor. It bugs me when they do that because either they know it presents higher numbers and thats why they do it (deceptive), or they dont know the difference (incompetent)

If he put some compression to the engine I would expect those numbers.

Dyno number are notoriously wild. You can have two different operators test the same bike and get results that are 10% different. If you get what you consider a very good test, you have bragging rights. If you get less than what you consider good results you say that "the operator sucked" or "I know I should have used that other cam". Dyno shops know that it is in their best interest to give you the best results they can so you are more than pleased and don't bitch. It never ends.

I think the crew at CR is great when im down south I like to stop in visit. Great numbers and nice bike if it runs great all that counts. Here's my dyno sheet from last July I believe I had to fix my map as I screwed it up trying to fix myself and was in a hurry. I brought it to ACS Racing in Hanson Ma. My bike is 07 SG 103 with TW55 cams and Jonny Sach did the heads as my local shop up here sends all his heads to the ornery old guy. Oh also changed out sprocket http://www.evolution-industries.com/...30toothspr.pdf long time back.. oh CFR pipes..
